California Medical Business Services, LLC is a management services organization dedicated to improving medical practices through the use of innovative technologies, strategic partnerships, and years of industry experience. Our efforts are directed toward providing quality patient care in the Radiology field. We currently have several Imaging Centers located within Pasadena, Arcadia, and Glendora. Our team consists of Board Certified Radiologists, Medical Administrators, Technologists, Billing and Scheduling staff, and Patient Support staff. We are currently seeking a bright Information Technology Specialist to join our team!

Some of the duties and responsibilities are:
  • To provide clients operational and technical support for business applications, hardware or telecommunication systems. Troubleshoots hardware and software problems, assists users with desktop applications and provides user training.
  • To provide ongoing technical maintenance and usage support of business applications in order to maintain their reliability and business benefits
  • Provide client support for applications and resolve client inquiry and issues
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
  • Training staff and clients in the use of system and applications
  • Perform creation/update of accounts using company provide software tools
  • Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
  • Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client computer systems
  • Perform basic hardware and software installation, upgrade, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of business applications, desktop computers and peripherals
  • Install upgrades and troubleshoot, support and repair simple network connectivity issues at the desktop, including NICs, network connections, and un-managed hubs/switches within local environments
  • Manage and perform systems backup periodically
  • Provides on-call, after hours technical support to internal and external customers when required
  • Drive/travel to location sites when required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Business Management.
  • 3+ years experience in the IT support service industry
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server and the ability to install, integrate and support these operating systems.
  • Proficient in Internet related applications such as MS Exchange, E-Mail clients, Anti-virus clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers
  • The ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical language to users
  • Good knowledge of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networks, wireless networks, Virtual Private Networking, file-sharing practices and Active Directory user/object management.
  • Configuration, installation, integration and troubleshooting of various network devices such as scanner, fax, printers, wireless access points
  • Experience of Radiology Information and voice recognition system, HL7, DICOM  is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in SQL Server administration skills, SQL querying skills preferred
  • Must be able to work a variable, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds (PCs, monitors, printers, etc. as needed)
  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License

While performing the duties of this job the employee will use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.  Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type, operate a calculator, telephone, copier and such other office equipment as necessary. Required to lift up to 30 pounds (such as servers, monitors and other equipment).
  • Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction. The office has fluorescent lighting. Must have ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.  It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods of time. 
  • Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. The noise level in the environment is quiet up to a moderate noise level.
