IRVINE – A 17-year-old girl died in a crash Monday morning, Nov. 12, after her car hit a traffic pole.

The girl was the only one in the car, which crashed shortly before 7:40 a.m. at Paseo Westpark and San Remo, Irvine police spokeswoman Kim Mohr said.

Paramedics performed CPR on the girl and took her to a hospital, where she died.
