SUMMARY
The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise. The incumbentdelivers a wide range of HR support and advice to include. The incumbent will play a key role in the success of the company by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations, payroll, safety and health, implementations and administration of policies and programs, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and management.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred and/or 5 - 10 years’ related experience or equivalent role in manufacturing. Experience with OSHA, CAL-OSHA, and AAP/EEO compliance; Experience in successfully implementing 9/80 work schedule preferred. Knowledgeable of applicablefederal, state and local employment regulations; Exercise a high degree of discretion, sense of urgency, professionalism and attention to details are a must. SPHR is a plus but not required.
Language Skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills
Strong PC application skills. Including complement of Microsoft Office Software (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Pont, and Outlook), internet search skills, on-line job boards, HRIS system (i.e. people soft, ADP, etc.), preferably Paychex.

Willing and able to travel within the U.S. up to 10% to attend seminars, training, conferences, school events, local employment agencies and other locations.
