Harris and Vice President Pence clashed over the outcome of the Trump administration's 

a strong push in the trade war with China.

"You lost the trade war," Harris said to Vice President Pence. 

"What happened, in the end, was that 300,000 manufacturing jobs were lost," 

and pointed out that in recent years more farm households went bankrupt and manufacturing jobs declined.

In response, Vice President Pence said, "We lost the trade war with China?" He rebutted

"Biden has never fought with China. Biden has been the Chinese Communist Party cheerleader for decades.

Harris is arguing for an opinion that is not true."
