Full-Stack Developer
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Type: Full-time
The Full-Stack Developer will be focusing on enhancing both front- and back-end development and work in a dynamic and great cultural environment. You will be engaged in challenging, innovative projects for our internal- and customer-facing web applications using the latest development standards and practices. You will be responsible for work in all stages of the development lifecycle, from reviewing business requirements to design, coding, testing, and deployment. Specifically, our web applications are built using the latest web technologies including Vue.js with HTML5 and ES6+ JavaScript while back-end services are in Node.js and PHP with MongoDB, MySQL, and MSSQL Server. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain web applications and REST APIs.
- Create a framework in MSSQL and MySQL and ongoing feature development and enhancements with PHP, Node.js, Vue.js, JavaScript technology, and more.
- Deliver reliable software through continuous integration, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Participate in a collaborative working environment with the eCommerce, marketing, and technology development team.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the development platform, and eCommerce team, and our business partners and subject expert developer consultant internally with each department.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Computer Science or similar work experience.
- Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures, and technical standards.
- Strong object-oriented and functional programming fundamentals.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expert knowledge of a modern JavaScript front-end framework.
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and PHP.
- Expert knowledge of Git version control.
- Hands-on experience working with REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Linux services and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, MSSQL, and MySQL databases.
- Knowledge of cloud-based computing/infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Desire and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker
