Technology hardware stocks tied to AI infrastructure spending led the gains: Hewlett Packard Enterprise surged 11.6%, Dell Technologies jumped about 10%, and HP rose roughly 8%, all lifted by strong demand signals and analyst upgrades tied to AI server buildouts. On the downside, Seagate Technology and Clorox each slipped about 3.1%, while lithium producer Albemarle fell around 2.5% as commodity-linked and defensive names lagged the broader rally.
