Irvine residents heading to the beach should stay out of the water and avoid flooded roads.
Iteris moves its Orange County operations to Irvine. Traffic-technology company Iteris Inc. is relocating its Santa Ana operations to two sites in Irvine, the Orange County Business Journal reported Monday. A new executive office for about 30 people, including senior management, will open at the Boardwalk office complex on Jamboree Road, which will also house the North American headquarters of parent company Almaviva, the Italian firm that acquired Iteris in 2024. Manufacturing, product development and the company's California consulting team will move to a roughly 65,000-square-foot facility on Waterworks Way. Iteris' corporate headquarters stays in Austin, Texas, and the move is expected to be completed early in the second half of 2027. "The move reflects Iteris' continued commitment to Orange County and our expectations for future growth in the region," a company spokesperson said.
UCI marks Phi Beta Kappa's 250th anniversary. UC Irvine published a recap Monday of its celebration of the Phi Beta Kappa Society's 250th anniversary, held Friday, October 9, at UCI Beall Applied Innovation. UCI chapter president Dr. Alpesh N.
